Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I think couchsurfing is a great way to meet new people. It is a wonderful way to help someone out who is traveling on a budget!
I currently live in an apartment with three of my friends. In our living room we have a pull out couch and a futon, so we can accommodate up to 4 guests. We are all pretty busy running around with school and various jobs, but we are always open to host people, give you a meal, let you use our shower, etc!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have not really couchsurfed much, but I am really looking forward to doing more and hosting!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to the UK in March 2009, specifically London and Scotland, to visit my family and friends. It was an amazing experience! I also travelled to Hawaii a couple years back and now I know that at some point in my life I must move there! I have also spent time in South Africa which I loved, Germany, a great country with extremely friendly people, and Amsterdam, a really fun city!
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about composting if anyone is interested in starting a compost pile. As a result of my major, I am also pretty knowledgeable about wildlife / wild animals and about nature in general and love taking walks and showing people how to find and catch frogs and salamanders, identify trees, etc.
I have always wanted to learn how to crochet! And I am really interested in hearing anyone's stories about hiking the Appalachian Trail.
