ABOUT ME

Hi, my name's Jake. I'm 29 and I'm from Chicago. I went to university there where I studied photography. I haven't lived there for awhile however as I've spent the past 4 years traveling and teaching English. I recently finished a year teaching in Busan, Korea. I also taught for a year in Peru and a bit in Colombia. I've done a lot of travel in between as well. I'm currently in Turkey.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I set up a CS account awhile ago, but for some reason never used it. I hope to change that in the near future and become an active part of the community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, I'm new to this and looking to gain some experience. I was recently inspired to update my account by a Turkish friend I met in Korea. He's an avid Couch Surfer and super host.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Rode a bike 700km from Tbilisi, Georgia to Trabzon Turkey. Went with my buddy Semih from Izmir. It was an incredible trip and I'm itching to ride more.
