ABOUT ME

Hi, my name is Stephanie! I'm an optimistic, easy-going girl from the States (Maryland originally!). I was living in wonderful Spain for the past 3 years, traveling for several months thereafter...and now in Alaska for a bit. Loving life! I enjoy many a thing - meeting new people, travelling (claro!), sipping tea, wandering in the mountains and forest, adventures, learning, writing, reading, anything in nature, dancing, moving...

I really enjoy being outdoors, in nature - that's where I feel most content and at home - whether it be in the mountains, on a farm, on a trail or so on. Always up for anything up that alley. :)

And you can never go wrong with dancing! I enjoy movement, the joy of expressing yourself in dance, how you feel and then just moving! Random dancing, 5 rhythms, contact jams, biodanza, swing, blues, salsa, square dancing, contra dancing, the list goes on!

I like trying new things (as I'm sure most people do!) and I'm up for trying almost anything once! I enjoy that the couch-surfing community embraces the cultural, social, sharing aspects of travelling. I continue to look forward to hosting and surfing and meeting lots of lovely couch-surfers!
