ABOUT ME

I am currently a medical student in Leeds UK which means i am the only one amongst my friends without a paid job! I love to play music - im always strumming on my shiny guitar and like playing with mates. I also love to travel and have been to many places in Europe and a few across the states. Im trying to get as much in before i lose the chance!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in the US in the summer of 2009 what an amazing experience! meeting the locals is definitely the best way to see a new place and its incredible how kind people are to put you up for a couple of nights. I am now looking to get people over to my place before I travel to India in July.

Love the guitar and music gigs etc, windsurfing and sailing although i struggle with these! and tae kwon do

Music, Movies, and Books

Pulp fiction is amazing i want to be sam jackson in that film and anything by tarantino, zombie films i find are a great way to pass some spare time and oddly american beauty amongst those.
Music - UK indie 80s and 90s califonian punk 60s rock and some dance and trance - an ecclectic mix
Books - catcher in the rye has to be my fav or maybe the hobbit anything quick and punchy will do me

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The blue mosque in Istanbul is the most amazing place i have ever been i sat in there for nearly an hour it was so encaptulating!
Firing an AK-47 on a range in Kiev has to be up there with the best it was shocking to see just how powerful and loud it is

Teach, Learn, Share

I might be able to share a basic medical knowledge but for any specific problems its best to ask a real doctor.
I like to know the history of things so learning about the history of places i visit is always cool
