ABOUT ME

I'm an easygoing person who loves the outdoors and the beach. I love having fun, making new friends and enjoying life every way I can!

My life so far: I grew up in a little town on the beach in western Australia, then moved to Perth for Uni. I spent a year on exchange living in Ontario, Canada, then travelled around Europe for 3 months before coming back to Perth to finish the last year of my degree. In a few weeks that will be accomplished ad I am heading to the UK for 2 months to celebrate :)

Future plan is to become a doctor and use that to travel the world and do good at the same time :)

When I was younger I was painfully shy but post-high school I made a decision that this just wasn't going to work so I made a concious effort to be more outgoing and boy, was it worth it! I'm still shy around new people, but I find that if you just act confident, eventually you feel confident as well!

I like learning things - I can be a bit of a nerd :)

I am off to the UK for July and August and hope to meet lots more couchsurfers on my travels :)

Experience everything you can. I want to make an impact on someone else's life, otherwise what is the point of being here if we don't leave a mark?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently hosting in Perth when I can, and planning on trying a bit of surfing in the UK in the next couple of months :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted a few times, and met up with some couchsurfers for drinks

Interessi

Swimming, dancing, traveling (obviously!), partying, learning about all sorts of interesting things.
I am also happy to just curl up on the couch sometimes and read a book/watch a movie :)

Musica, film e libri

The Shawshank Redemption is my favourite movie ever, I love watching all kinds of movies, except I have a terrible habit or forgetting all the details as soon as its over, to the point where a year later I won't know if I've seen it or not!

I love reading, but university doesnt really give me much time to do that, a recent favourite is 'The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo' trilogy, loved it.

As for music, I will listen to pretty much anything depending on my mood, I love Australian Alternative and progressive metal/rock bands, some indie pop/folk music, but I'm also a sucker for classical music and when I'm out dance music is pretty sweet as well. Recently I've begun using dubstep as a study soundtrack which is a new venture....
