CURRENT MISSION

Well. I grew up in France and came to Iceland in September of 2006 to work in a school as an assistant French teacher. Fate, unfavorable winds and a dash of laziness have kept me living here since. "On standby" would be the most fitting description of my current mission.

ABOUT ME

I can talk about myself when I'm asked questions. So you can come and find out for yourself.

I'm not a huge fan of people who call themselves "open-minded" and "fun-loving" on their CouchSurfing profiles. Those are buzzwords that don't actually mean anything and that seldom apply to the people who use them. Oh and if you're French and send me a request in English, I'll assume you have not read my profile and will not reply :)

PHILOSOPHY

If you can't find the remote control for the TV then you must stand up to change the channels yourself. Metaphorically speaking of course, but also literaly.

I've seen some movies and read some books.

As far as music goes I listen mainly, if not exclusively, to classical music (Schubert, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Russian music are among my favourite), but I won't impose my tastes on others and will only talk about music when I'm asked to. I also 60s and 70s rock (the Beatles, Velvet Underground, Simon & Garfunkel...) and of course some more recent stuff which might stand the test of time in the decades to come (I am NOT looking at you, Black Eyed Peas). Anyhow, can't talk about music without getting in an argument, so let's not discuss it.
