ABOUT ME

I've been living in the Kanazawa area for 20 years. I came here on a scholarship to study economics at Kanazawa University for two years.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've hosted several couchsurfers at my flat and showed them around Kanazawa. I also couchsurfed in Okinawa.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All of them positive. I've met a lot of nice people through CS and hope to meet many more.

Interessi

Calligraphy, vegetable gardening on my modest deck, scuba diving, and weight training. I am also a volunteer first aid instructor for my local Red Cross chapter in Japan.

Volunteering with the Red Cross and a U.S-based organization called All Hands Volunteers after the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami in 2011.

Scuba diving in Okinawa. It was my first time diving in sub-tropical waters and I was amazed by the fish and underwater cave formations.
