About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to be astounded by the world!

ABOUT ME

My first memories are of riding in the backseat of my mother's bicycle on the streets of Beijing, dodging other bicycles being pedaled by other mothers taking their only children to the market or the zoo. Next thing I knew my mother decided to join my father in America and we were landing in Miami, where he was waiting for us in a used 1989 Mazda. Funny thing is, I still don't know how to ride a bike or drive a car, so I guess that's why I like exploring places on foot.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to learn! Whether it's from a book or from a friend, I always try to keep myself open to new ideas and discuss them without resorting to pretension or (overly thick) irony.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went horseback riding last summer in the mountainous province of LiJiang in Southern China with my parents. It was raining that day and my mother's horse almost slipped on a rock but we made it back safely, with sore legs.
