ABOUT ME

For the past 7 years, I've been out there, studying and working int he field of sustainable development. Now, I turn back inwards and assess what my added value is in this tranformation towards a more sustainable society. So I've left my government job and have set up a company that will offer leadership, organisation and strategy development, by putting the pieces back together. In the West, we've become very good at analysing things, breaking them up into pieces, and then neglecting some of these. What we need is to integrate all of the parts/perspectives/stakeholders/ways of decision making, also within ourselves. Developing our intuition, and learning how to tap into our collective intelligence will be instrumental in that work.
As you can see, I'm passionate about this work and finally feel like I'm doing something useful.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted an Italian couple. Went very well! I surfed in Oxford, UK, and then for four whole weeks in California. Thanks again to all 9 hosts who made the trip possible!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Spent the night, alone, in an African rainforest.
- Was once harassed by someone for money, in a dark alley, and was able to transcend any fear, look him in the eye with so much love that they just left.
