About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet many more CSers from the hosting side of the equation...when I'm home:)

ABOUT ME

Silly, sweet, stupid/smart, silent, thoughtful, forgetful, long-winded, excited, adventurous, accepting, open, honest, thankful, humble, confident, confused, indecisive, eager, in-training, ALIVE!! Music and mountains move me most. I long to travel, to learn, to share, and to meet the rest of this amazing group of people and animals spread across our glorious green globe. I am a very youthful 38(I feel about 19) though I act my age when its appropriate(whatever that means;-). I have lived responsibly, semi-maturely, surrounded by amazing friends and a tiny family that has dwindled to only sister.I have lived in Montana, Seattle, and now Maui, Hawaii. I consider my large group of close friends and their families to be my greatest asset. I am never alone and I want for very little. I am very curious about our world and wish to see much more of it. My mother has just died. My father is already gone. It is time for me to travel. I have talked of it for so long and it is finally the right time to act and do and go and be and see.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we are all connected in some way. I live with great respect for all people and animals. I am instantly open and embracing to most everyone I meet. It is rare to find someone I can't see for their good. I definitely 'do unto others...' and wish we could all live this way. Optimistic? Yes. Overly kind? Possibly. Why not dream? Better yet, just live the way you wish to be treated. Life is beautiful and challenging and full of endless potential. Let go of fears and see what happens.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the CS community and have contributed nothing so far except details of my life. I wish to be as helpful and open as possible and hope that I can receive such blessings in my upcoming travels before I can balance the karmic scales with my own generosity when I am returned to my present home on the island of Maui.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have now surfed a few couches in Europe: one at my friend Ada's(thank you!!)for two separate weekends, one here in Prague(Lennart--you are a true friend and a trusting soul). I have yet to host anyone, as I have been away from my home since my account was set up. I hope to continue to meet CSers like this wonderful and kind group here in Prague, as I am traveling around Europe for another 7 weeks. CS is really an incredible idea that somehow became its true potential. It is proof that people everywhere, regardless of culture, color, or creed, really do value all life and the diversity of our world and want to support and nurture this. It is validation that there are actually GOOD souls and kind hearts across this planet. Hooray!!:-)

Interests

I am greatly interested in travel, language, cultural history, our bond as humans regardless of age, race, color, ethnicity, country, etc. Hiking, camping, biking, climbing, kayaking, all make feel very happy, alive, and thrilled to have the health and ability to enjoy and participate in such activities.
