ABOUT ME
(this is a bit a shared account for me and my girl-friend)

Julia:
I am a PhD student in chemistry/mateials science working with quntum dots. Right now I am at the University of Toronto for a four-month research stay.

I love nature, hinking, sports (badminton, swimming, roller blading), good food, interesting conversations and of course travelling. I started to explore the world (USA, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, GB, Czech Republic, Denmark, Sweden, Norway) when I was old enough to travel on my one - and I am still looking for new places and adventures as time permits!

When I am not travelling I am living and working in a small city called Erlangen (Bavaria, Germany).

Jonathan:
I´m a student of electronical engineering and will finish my master degree more or less soon. A lot of my time I spend on playing the classical guitar, doing sports, meeting friends, reading books... And now learning french, as I am doing an Erasmus semester in Rennes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My parents are members of SERVAS, which is an organisation for hosting people. Unfortunately it is a bit aged, so I would like to do the same with CS. I have already made great experiences, met nice and welcoming people.

Interests

I like music, first of all classical as I play the classical guitar.
Sports like running, swimming, cycling, hiking.
