ABOUT ME

I'm an art student at New York University currently working in a used bookstore. The arts I'm most interested in right now are drawing, sculpture, and video. I also am minoring in production for film and television and hope to one day move into art direction for film. In the mean time my fall back is mostly graphic design and advertising. I suppose I am a bit of a nerd sometimes (for anyone that noticed my mission statement is from Star Trek), but certainly not the kind that shies away from sunlight and plays on her computer all day. I love to hang out with friends, have fun, meet new people and see new places!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately I don't really have a place for people to stay but I would certainly love to meet people and show them around the area I live in. I also love to travel and always appreciate a friendly place to stay or cool people to show me around the area they live in.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've actually only surfed once when I was visiting Dublin with a few friends but it was one of the most fun weekends I've ever had! We were invited to a party our host house was having and met great people from literally all over the world who had for one reason or another all ended up in Dublin together. I think this is a great project and I am excited to participate more in the future.

Movies: Edward Scissorhands, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Amelie, all the Harry Potter movies, Love Actually, Wes Anderson movies, Judd Apatow Movies, and lots more.

Music: Lots of stuff! Right now I seem to be in a Beatles phase.

Books: all the Harry Potter books, The Catcher in the Rye, The Lord of the Rings, Woody Allen books, and David Sedaris books.
