Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch is your couch whenever I'm around - but I do travel a lot for work. Couches near Sydney on houseboat or in Canberra in house or also a little rural village cottage. And you can also stay with me ma (a national treasure) in Sydney CBD, a bit cramped but cosy and friendly.BUT PLEASE NOTE: Travelling till end of November 2009 - so cannot host between now and then.

No experience yet. Hope to experience soon in Ireland.

Interests

The human spirit, politics and social change, the goodness of education, writing, boats, painting, drinking and talking. Love swimming, floating and mucking about in boats. Road trips in my country Australia and elsewhere.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On a boat...no moon dark night - surrounded by a swarm of thousands of phosphorescent laced squid - glowing and sparkling in the dark water and merging into the stars amongst the black sky.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can teach about Australia - history, politics, Aboriginal culture, Irish-Australian culture. I paint and have timber boats.
