My mission is to climb the many different rocks the world has to offer.

ABOUT ME

My name is Tysin, im your local utah dirt bag (rock climbing bum). I have a goal in life right now to travel the world and rock climb. I have spent the last year all over the U.S. meeting new people and climbing. as you can tell i love to rock climb, its my life. but i do like just about everything outside, you name it im down or at least willing to give it a shot.

PHILOSOPHY

One of my favorite authors "T.S. elliot" once said "We shall not cease from exploration. And the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time." I live by this every day of my life. simply until i know of everything else in this world good and bad i will never know for myself and what i truly have.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had a roomate that got me into couch surfing and she had a ton of people stay with us. I have got to know a ton of new friends. Sense i love the outdoors and I love to share the things that i do with others, just about everyone that stays with us i try to take them out and show them what our city has to offer, i really like to take people to the local climbing spots and give them a try so they can see what climbing is all about.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience has left me always wanting more. I work and play a lot and its always with my same crowed, so there's nothing better then getting out or having someone in that can show me something different. New faces are always my favorite ones.

iron and wine, sufjan stevens, the shins, red house painters, mirah, joshua james, an angle, ani difranco, animal collective, ben harper, damien rice, the pixies, sigur ros, some heavy metal and Spanish hip hop, and the list goes on and on. movies bottle rocket, i heart huckabees, old black and white horror and zombie movies, the royal tenenbaums climbing movies. i like movies a lot, nothing like a few hours to escape reality.

Teach, Learn, Share

i rock climb and have tons of free time. i love to teach and would love to take and teach anyone how to rock climb. i have tons of fun things i like to do here also and would love to take people to do them, and im always down to learn something new.
