ABOUT ME

Hi Everyone!!! Nice to meet you!!!

Ok.. Where should I start.

Since childhood through teenage years,I have been living in 10 different countries overseas mostly in Africa, Europe and Asia, I still feel like the world still has more to show me and I always jump on a good occasion to pack up my bags and get back on the road or plane or train or car or bicycle....

All this travelling and experiences through my life led me to French Polynesia where I fell in love with pearls and decided to take on the profession of pearlfarming.
This has probably been the best choice I have ever done in my life since I wake up everyday happy and go back to bed at night with the feeling of a well spent day.
I used to be a party freak but I've calmed down quite a bit for the past 2 years, and I know enjoy a cool evening at home just as much as an occasional night out to the pub or club....Although on my small island the closest thing to a club is our own sound system and colored tee shirt wrapped up around the lamps!! LOL :P

I define myself as a down to earth person that enjoys simple things in life.

My experience overseas taught me that whinging doesn't get you anywhere and that I should never take things for granted, as there's unfortunately always someone out there that will be less fortunate than me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to participate to the CS project by giving my contribution by welcoming people to my spot as well as people would receive me if i went out there and traveled through the CS network.
It will be like spreading the word of CS!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far... hope to start very soon indeed.

Interests

- any sport in relation with the water or the ocean is attractive to me, also anything regarded has a board included in the activity...

- also like good food, good wine afternoon...extended to night sometimes :P at the pub,

Music, Movies, and Books

I can listen to almost anything from African beats to electro and metal, except for the commercial radio stuff.
A few styles: rock, metal, tekno, funk, lounge, world music, blues, hip-hop, RnB, latin, reggae, ragga, zouk...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many thing to say there it would be quite difficult to talk or write about all of them here.

I find it better to have a good chat once we meet in person.

W will be most definitely, my mates and I, to share and teach about or work as pearl farmers, and about the way of life in a Polynesian island. we can also show you about spearfishing and/or surfing.
