ABOUT ME

I work as a lawyer... but, fortunately, people tell me that I don't look and behave like the one:).

I want to start to explore world and also meet people from different countries, learn something new from them and build friendships.

I'm going to make my couch available to guests too, however it's impossible at the moment.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm an optimist, I think I'm looking at the world through pink-tinted glasses:).

Interests

I use Ubuntu Linux, I like the philosophy behind it. I've translated from English some articles on this topic. However, I'm not a programmist, and I've learned Linux from basics.

I like reading books.

I work as a volunteer for NGO which helps people who need legal advice but don't have enough money to pay for the lawyer.

I'm a disabled person, my right hand and leg were touched by cerebral palsy.
One day I joined the sport club for the disabled people. I was an athlete, and practised running for about 1,5 year. I practised swimming too. I took a break 1 year ago, because I can't combine my work with sport and had some injuries, but I plan coming back to sport activities later this year.
I like riding a bike.

From time to time I do something to make my life better. At the moment I'm trying to improve my English and working on the habit of morning exercising. I also explore the topic of Neurolinguistic Programming.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I've always read lots of science fiction and fantasy, I was impressed by the work of Philip K. Dick. I like mainstream books too, but these should be enjoyable, I avoid hard, pessimistic literature. Reading should be form of joy.
Also I read some personal development books. I like the blog written by Steve Pavlina.

Music: I listen to everything I enjoy at the moment. That means I don't listen to one specific genre all the time. One day I feel like jazz, another - rock or metal. When I need energy boost I listen to fast electronic music, and when my soul needs beauty, peace and silence, I'm looking for chillout sounds. I love the voice of Bjork. I download/listen music from Jamendo or Magnatune.

Movies: I don't remember movie which was boring to me and in which I find nothing interesting. My favourites including: various comics adaptations (Batman, Spiderman, X-men, and so on), some romantic comedies:), some Woody Allen movies, Monty Python's Flying Circus, and many others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was given a cup for my sport achievements in 2007 (by the regional association of athletes).

Teach, Learn, Share

I may convince you to using Linux:). I know the basics required for everyday using by average user.

I also can share some methods to run out of bad habits or to develop good ones:).
