ABOUT ME

I was born a tri- citizen in Guadalajara, Mexico. Making me pretty much like the NAFTA agreement rolled into one Mexican-Canadian-American. I have spent most of my time in Portland and British Columbia, but still call Portland home.

Im definitely talkative but employ as much active listening as I possibly can. I have a tendency to remember faces til I die but forget names often, leading me to write your name down as soon as I meet you. I fear Im overly prepared most of the time. So, Im finding lessons in packing lighter through life.

PHILOSOPHY

I guess what it boils down to is:
"Given a relatively level playing field- i.e., water deep enough so that a shark could maneuver proficiently but shallow enough so that a bear could stand and operate with its characteristic dexterity- who would win in a fight between a bear and a shark?"

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now Im living in places six months at a time, living somewhere between traveling and security. Making it hard to host or be hosted. Im looking forward to getting a place to host again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Epic, Amazing and a continual source of making good lasting friendships. I didn't realize how many good people are out there.

Intereses

I enjoy painting, music, rock climbing, cold drinks on hot days,hot drinks on cold days, surfing, skateboarding, volunteering, snowboarding, reading, building and riding bikes.

Human interaction also interests me, after all that's what I went to school for.
