ABOUT ME

I am a Canadian girl from Victoria, BC (near Vancouver).

I am fresh out of University, and not quite decided on what to do next. I am an artist (caricature and cartoons), and a huge fan of learning new languages and cultures.

During my 1-year study abroad in Kyoto, Japan, I visited South Korea and Thailand, and that is when I quickly learned that I loved to travel.

Since then, I try to travel when I'm able to, with my most recent accomplishment being my solo-backpacking trip around Western Europe for a couple months in 2010.

and, folks, that's when I was introduced to Couch Surfing :D

PHILOSOPHY

You only live once, but once is enough if you live it right.
Better to regret doing something than regret doing nothing at all.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great. I got into CS during my backpacking trip around Western Europe, and I met some amazing people and made great connections through CS. I don't necessarily think it's for everyone, but for those who are willing to dive into a new experience, I'd fully recommend it.

Interests

Drawing is a pretty big part of my life.
I've lately picked up the ukulele and guitar, and am loving learning how to play them.
I love going out and partying, but am completely content with lower-key house parties too.
I love Japanese fashion and comic books.
I definitely like learning new Languages (I've opened books Japanese, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Korean, and Thai), as well as new cultures.
