About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Out to find some other like-minded people in New York City
ABOUT ME
I'm a 26 year old white guy from the midwest who now lives in New York City. I'm an actor when I can be, I'm a website design and layout artist by day. I am a bit of a hippie, I go to a big huge music festival almost every year, I even went "on tour" for a while in '07...I just got back from Rothbury '09...good times. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out where I might meet some like-minded people in this city. I'm going to try Couch Surfing, maybe I'll find some freaky people here! I guess I am only available in the "available for coffee," tourguide-for-a-day sense, if anyone feels like doing that I think it sounds cool. We'll have some fun in the sun in Central Park or something.
PHILOSOPHY
All Things In Moderation, Even Moderation.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None, new to this thing! I did have a guy who leased a room in my apt say he does it all the time and that it is truly amazing, I thought I'd give it a try.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is mostly jam band stuff and classic rock...
Movies I like: I Heart Huckabee's, The Big Lebowski, Mulholland Drive, Waking Life, Woodstock:3 Days of Peace and Music...lots of thinking and/or feelgood movies.
As for books, I don't read as often as I should. My current favorite is 2012: The Return of Quetzalcoatl by Daniel Pinchbeck.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did an all-night pilgrimage to climb Mt. Fuji in Japan and see the sun rise from the summit on the first day of climbing season in 2008. I started at 10:00 pm at 6,000 ft. I arrived at the summit, 12,388 ft. at 5:14 a.m. The sun rose at 5:19 a.m. I was awestruck.
