ABOUT ME

June 2007
own a licensed cafe/music venue. work 7 days a week. watch our friends take off on world adventures and look on with envy. try to save cash and dream of making big bucks so we can strap on the backpack and hit the ground running again. reorganising our flat so we can open our doors to you lucky souls who are on the ground running already...

May 2006
we're home again now. just finished a fairly extensive world trip and had a blast of a time. had cool jobs, started a music magazine, went to great gigs, played at great venues, met great people. now it's back to work for a while, get married, get set up again, get going. so same same, but different.

PHILOSOPHY

when i die i'd like to get a massive set of scales and put everything i owe to the world on one side, everything the world owes me on the other, and check that my side was lighter... i don´t want to die while i still owe the world a favour.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

had our first couch surf with seth in New York. never met a better pair of blokes than he and his housemate will. had a dead set great time, stayed five days and cooked the thickest steak i´ve ever seen. if all couch surfing is this good than we´ll never sleep in a hostel again...

Interests

give us a topic and there's always bound to be a yarn to go with it. apart from winning a round the world trip through triple j (radio station) in australia, both of us are well into rock music, drinking (in moderation if called for), good times and meeting new people...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

apart from winning a trip around the world, successfully proposing to my fiance, running a music festival and the likes it's all been done in the last month. we've been up the highest building in the world (CN Tower), seen niagra falls, got hit in the face by donavon frankenreiter's water bottle, negotiated through mexico on a spanish phrase book and managed to keep a diary of the lot so far. we'll update the lot when there's more time.
