About Me

Like most people on this site, I love travelling. I love seeing new places, meeting new people (friends), eating new food, and drinking new beer/wine/liquor, but most of all I love just being exposed to different perspectives and learning new things.

I'm American - born in Washington, DC and currently living in New York City - and lived in London but definitely would like to see myself as a citizen of the world and an active member and contributor in a global community.

I'm gay and feel a strong affinity for other members of the LGBTQ+ community and also greatly appreciate straight allies

I work at the intersection of money and social + environmental impact, trying to understand how $$ can be harnessed for public good.

My interests include travel, urban planning, applied and behavioral economics, mass transport, history, environmentalism, and sports.

My philosophy is to be open to new ideas and experiences and to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.

Music, Movies, and Books

I LOVE EDM music but also can get into nearly anything with a good beat :)

I enjoy lot's of movies, from critically acclaimed indie films and documentaries to major blockbusters.

Nonfiction, especially history, economics, or urban planning books are my favorite although I love some good fiction like Gabriel Garcia Marquez

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being born :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I know some about world politics, economics, and development and some random other stuff. Just don't ask me to dance unless you give me alcohol first.
