About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the whole world's beauty with my own eyes

ABOUT ME

I love meeting people from cultures different than mine. I love listening to people's stories, learning from their experiences. I love to go out and have a good time, but I'm also trying not to spend all my money at the bar. I play basketball frequently, and I stay in shape. I'm very happy to be living next to the ocean, because it's always been a dream of mine. I love and cherish my family and friends back home, but the knowledge that the world is so big and there are so many places I have to go makes it impossible for me to stay confined in Detroit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have only hosted others, but I look forward to traveling in the near future. Strangers have been kind to me throughout my life, and I've had nothing but good experiences in my travels. I want to return the favor and make it a bit easier for people to travel the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I've hosted a couple people and in both instances had a great time.

Interests

Basketball, traveling, swimming in the ocean, having some drinks at the bar, making friends from all over the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once again, I can't pinpoint one...
Traveling through 48 states with my mom over the course of 6 summers.
While living in Australia, I spent 3 weeks sleeping on a couch in Coogee Beach, Sydney. I met tons of people, and got to do a lot of cool things, like go on a yacht in Sydney Harbor.
Spending Carnaval 2009 in Rio de Janeiro, staying in Ipanema. Seeing the best and worst life has to offer.
So many things...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my experiences, and my knowledge of people, places, and life in general.
I can't pinpoint one or even a couple things I can teach, because I don't consider myself a teacher, since I still have so much to learn.
