ABOUT ME

Hello! Ca va! Hola! Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.

My passion is traveling and learning about as many different types of cultures and people as possible. I have traveled internationally throughout my lifetime, but there are still SOOO many places I hope to get to. :-)

In addition to travel, I like to make new friends, watch movies, go to sporting and social events. I also love hiking, swimming, running, cycling, skiing, dancing, good food, wine....and just try to stay healthy and fit.

Happiness is not a destination, but a journey. It is not tomorrow, it is now. Live in the moment!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to travel in a way that is not too "touristy". I like to meet local people and have good conversations with them or ask them to recommend local places. I would do the same if someone couch surfed with me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first CS experience in Vancouver where I could share a lovely flat with a very nice and experienced CS host. I stayed for the whole week and we got to know each other very well. I liked the idea of having dinner together and going out together which makes it easier to get to know your host.

Interests

If I don`t work or travel then I go hiking, swimming, skiing, cycling or for a long walk in the woods. But I also like to relax, cook, have good and long conversations with friends or just stay at home with a good DVD.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not too much into reading but open for all kind of good novels. I like to watch comedy's, Drama`s and Thrillers but I definitely don`t like any kind of since fiction movies. I like all kinds of music, it just depends on my mood and there are too many to mention right now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My most amazing time was when I traveled for 4 1/2 years through OZ, NZ and Asia.
And the best thing I have done: When I worked as a "Jillaroo" (Cowgirl) on a cattle station in Western Australia. :-)
