I am getting my blue belt in BJJ, building a garden, and making a baby.

ABOUT ME

I like me. I rock out. I'm proud of where I've gotten to in life, and I'm looking forward to the rest of it. I have an amazing wife, a home with a real yard, a decent job that's not too hard and affords me the money to fund my interests and hobbies. I train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA a few evenings a week. I play the didgeridoo well and the drum and harmonica...not as well. We travled to Europe over the summer and we go camping a lot, we like to take trips to visit friends all over the country.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm an atheist, but I make a concerted effort to not be a dick about it. I am a Unitarian Universalist and there is no such thing as luck, just preparation meeting opportunity.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love hosting people in my space. My parents were always welcoming hosts for my friends and they threw parties for their friends often. I do the same. I love having over friends and strangers. I love meeting new people. I come from a big family and I like making big communal meals for guests. Come over!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, Erin and I hosted some CSers once on their way biking from Main to Florida. That's our official experience. Unofficially we host friends over and crash in friend's and even just acquaintances space's whenever we take trips. When we host parties we provide space for guests to crash if they want to stay for breakfast the next day.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have only a few things I spend my time on; my relationship, my martial arts, music, storytelling and roleplaying games. I love teaching jiu jitsu and the didgeridoo. If you're interested in either I'm a patient and enthusiastic teacher. I am, of course, always interested in anything anyone can teach me about any of my interests as well.
