ABOUT ME
Like a child that discovers the world, I can still get excited. Even by small things. I like fennel tea. I like to sit in trains for hours and follow my thoughts. Or to watch people and their behavior on public places. Butter is essentially to me. Even if I do work hard, I don't follow the maxim "work hard, party hard". But nevertheless I like to go out sometimes to raise some hell on the dancefloor ;-) Enough now. I am still trying to find out more.
PHILOSOPHY
"Live is ongoing reconstruction of the world." N. Luhmann
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed several couches in Austria, Poland, Sweden, Romania, Finland, Germany, Israel, Italy, UK and Russia. And I was a host several times. I never had any bad experiences, it was always a pleasure to get in contact with friendly and open minded people.
Interests
I am interested in many things. Especially in photography, cinema, music, dancing, literature and books, urban exploring, politics, ecology. I still enjoy djing, even though it became more and more rare. When I am not too lazy I attend Capoeira training and sometimes I enjoy bouldering.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: all of Nikolaij Gogol, Franz Kafka, Kurt Kusenberg, Paul Watzlawick, Max Goldt, Daniil Charms, Friedrich Dürrenmatt, Mark Twain ... an author I recently discovered is Christoph Ransmayr. And I still not read Julio Cortázar. Hm. I can't really stop to list.
Music: (northern) soul!, britpop, rock'n'roll, jazz, early reggae, ska and rocksteady sounds. I really like to dance to drum'n'bass, electro and tango, too. Broad taste but the roots are britpop and my heart belongs to northern soul.
Movies: rebel without a cause, the fugitive kind, Andrei-Tarkovsky-films, Marlon-Brando-Films, Alain-Delon-Films, Film Noir, German New Wave Cinema and stuff like that but also modern movies like Coen- and Tarantino-productions etc. Sometime I even like martial-arts- and action movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I "survived" the siberian winter ;-) (Immediately your nose hair is frozen when you go outside while minus 30 degree or even lower temperature - a really strange feeling.)
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Israel, Italy, Poland, Romania, Russian Federation, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom
