ABOUT ME

I'm a quiet islander who loves to escape, and I've done so with varying degrees of success: been on plenty of summer trips, spent 4 years under the influence in Manchester, a year in Moscow learning Russian, now finishing a 4 year course in Glasgow.
Though I do love my island it's really a holiday destination... so if I do ever settle down in Guernsey, I'll have to make sure there's a spare couch!

I, sadly, rarely have the patience or motivation. Once upon a time I used to love reading about utopias and dystopias (1984, Brave New World, We, The Left hand of darkness...). Then there was also Dostoevsky and some other wonderful Russians. Hmmmm, perhaps I should read once again.
