ABOUT ME

One could say of me that I am extrovert and optimistic for the most part... apart from that I admit a personal choice to maintain an air of mystery about myself for the sake of decency. Albeit, I relate the following quote as a substitute for egocentricity:

PHILOSOPHY

To be frank I feel that I am too young to adequately summarize my personal philosophy; I suppose that I am still impressionable...in my opinion the following offers an interesting perspective/philosophy:

"History may vindicate life; it does not resemble it." -- Charles de Gaulle in conversation with Andrés Malraux

To resort to clichés, I take the above to signify that one should not beleive everything that one hears and also that winning isn't everything.

For music I prefer almost anything to country western.
For books I am usually into non-fiction, but recently I have enjoyed the poems of the late Mahmoud Darwish.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Although I am not overtly pious and in fact tend towards agnosticism, I can say that an amazing thing that I have participated in was a pilgrimmage to the shrine of Imam Reza in Mashad. The human spirit is indeed fascinating.
