About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finish my 12 months of travel with a BANG!

ABOUT ME

All about me eh? Well the only thing that instantly comes to my mind is that I'm probably one of the most social person you'll ever meet!

Other than that I think the comments my Couch Surfers have left below will give you a way better idea of who I am than anything I can come up with to describe myself!

Oh and what am I doing in Canada? Well long story short I got tired of the 8AM to 5PM (just an expression... my hours were more like 7AM to 8PM!) life as an accountant and decided to drop everything and go traveling!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It seems that in the 9 months that I had my own apartment I always seemed to always have a Couch Surfer! They stayed anywhere between 2 nights to... drum roll... wait for it... the record to beat is... 28 days!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Landed in Chile (first time travelling alone and to South America) at night and got in touch with a CouchSurfer - 20 minutes later she pops up at my hostal with two friends and we head over to her apartment - turns out she left in the middle of her house party and dragged 2 friends to drive half way across Santiago in the dead of the night just to help me out! She even prepared some food for me when I was hungry! Really want to repay it forward and help out others in the same way!

And so for the 9 months that I did have my own apartment in downtown Auckland I made sure I always made it available to Couch Surfers in need!
