I have hosted a few people but am loving the experience. I have never been hosted through CS, but it is a very nice way to meet people and experience a city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While backpacking in Europe my train was delayed by a freak storm for 20 hours. After missing my flight, a stranger was kind enough to offer to let me and 3 other travelers crash at his place in Prague for a few days. He mentioned couchsurfing.

I've hosted a few folks, so far so good. Looking forward to the future.

Interests

People, chess, cheap thrills, and brief periods of living beyond my means. I love to hear people's ideas, especially if they are different from mine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my teens I saved the life of a girl that I only knew through the internet. I guess that counts.

A man was so inspired after talking to me that he cried, but I am pretty sure he's crazy.

I'm a math teacher by day and a music/theatre kid by night. I know a lot about patterns and numbers, and am eager to learn anything about anything. Information is the blood of my body.
