ABOUT ME

I'm both a classic ENFP and Sagittarius, though I put more stock into the former than the latter.

I have an inherent humanistic perspective, and tend to wear my heart on my sleeve. I have an easy laugh, and a ready smile. I relish hilarity.

I'm social services and community work oriented, and tend to have "helping" jobs. Over the past decade or so, my work has revolved around mental health care.

I like moving to new places and living there for a year or two, to get a real feel for the culture - which kept me busy with country-hopping throughout my twenties. I have recently relocated from Montreal to Toronto, in Canada.

I'm a huge dog nut and am in the habit of spending a lot of time with and around them - both mine (2 pugs) and other people's.

I love sports but many knee surgeries have seen me pretty much give 'em all up one by one, except for cycling, swimming, and the odd run.

Family is important to me; I appreciate the time I get to spend with mine.

I'm my most comfortable in Fall and Winter. I like anything wool, layers of clothing, hot drinks, scarves, and the smell of the air during these two seasons.

I am very happy when I reside close to bodies of water.
I love live music and festivals, especially bluegrass and folk.
I like being gentle with and respectful of this beautiful Earth.
I love eating new foods and I have recently taken up an interest in cooking - I only have a couple of 'signature' dishes so far.
I adore camping! Especially swimming in cold lakes and roasting things on campfires.

Movies - Documentary, film festival, international, thriller, comedy.
Music - I enjoy an extremely diverse range of music, that as far as I can tell, so far only excludes death metal.
Books - Contemporary fiction, non-fiction... I'll read anything someone suggests to me.
