ABOUT ME

I'm Joel, my main goal at the moment is to be become a filmmaker. I am extremely into travelling, but more into meeting the people and eating the food than in seeing the sights. I am a pretty good storyteller and have a good sense of humour ( I think).I am also athletic and extremely competitive.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have a couch of my own at the moment....but I'm working on it. I live at my parents home, but there is room here for 2 couchsurfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I actually have just found out about couch surfing and am looking to try it out. Ihave many similar experiences though none are directly connected to couchsurfing. I think its a great idea and I can"t wait to post my own couchsurfing stories.

My interests are filmmaking, writing and all forms of storytelling.
I love music ( except for country) and sports.
My favourite sports are football, futsal and hockey.
I also snowboard....and would love to learn how to surf.

Favourite movies- the prestige, fightclub, the count of monte christo, the truman show, edward sciossorhands, the green mile, 3:10 to yuma. ( anything directed by chris nolan or david fincher.) Also american beauty, the boondock saints and Kickass.
I love punk rock music green day, billy talent, relient k. I have listened to eminem for as long as I can remember. I like josh groban also.

My favourite auhtors are louis l'amour, robert jordan, frank peretti, chuck palahniuck and stephen king.

I lived on the streets of australia with no money for six months... The christmas I spent on the streets was the best I've ever had. The people I met (both homeless and not) turned out to be very good friends.
I got naked with 6000 people of shapes, ages and sizes for a Spencer Tunick photograph at and inside the Sydney Opera House.
