I recently graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a Master's in Public Health and moved to DC this past June. I work mostly in Global health, specifically with gender and health equity, refugees, and community empowerment.
My other passion in life is travel. I am always down to explore a new city, hike, or just chill and have a drink (preferably outside whenever possible) and absolutely love meeting new people who enjoy these parts of life.
I tend to wake up early and spend my free time cooking, dancing, and doing yoga. I am a big believer in working hard but also relaxing hard and letting yourself just enjoy life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed twice in California during my cross country trip and once during a weekend stay in Berlin. All my experiences have been amazing, so I'm looking to pass on that experience.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

When I was traveling in Indonesia, I got to live in a small town deep in the mountains of South Sulawesi. The town is known for their crazy funeral rituals (look up Tana Toraja if you want to hear all about it) and I attended about 3 a week during my month there.

Another interesting moment while traveling was in Ethiopia when I ended up at a red carpet event and got interviewed by a local tv station while wearing a borrowed prom dress and still covered in dirt from hiking the whole day prior.
