ABOUT ME

Basically, I was in Australia working in a job that was paying well but I was really bored and wanted to experience something different. I decided that teaching English would be a good vehicle to use for travel and meeting others like me. I'd like to meet people who want to travel, eat food that is different from what their used to. Run around, run a muck and have fun just being young and free. Being aloof and enjoying life; whatever surprises it presents to you each day.

PHILOSOPHY

Memento Mori - Remember that you too will die. I know it seems quite morbid at first but I don't see it as a negative saying. I believe that it is inevitable that we will die, so make the most of it while you can. Do what you need to so you ensure that when it happens you leave behind a life that is filled with great stories.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This is the first time I've heard of CS and I haven't really done it before, so I guess I'm participating by trying it out and reserving judgement. That way I can spread the word, I am a positive person, this will no doubt be a positive experience for me.

Interests

I am always interested in meeting new people and hearing about the experiences they have had in their lives. I enjoy talking about mostly anything that takes my mind away to special places and experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite book and movie is Peter Pan. I guess I enjoy it because I relate to him. I am afraid to grow up and all I want in my life is to have adventures and be with someone I truly care about. (That's not say that I am irresponsible, I just believe in always staying young at heart at least.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In october (09) I went to Macau and jumped off the world's highest bungy platform, it was 233 metres of sheer terror and excitement! I did at night and the view of Macau was beautiful...the whole experience was just purely amazing!

I've been skydiving and I loved it, crazy rush! And would like to do it again soon. I've also been Zorbing, it's a crazy huge ball that you and two other friends get in, they fill it up with some water, take you up a huge hill and roll you down. It's sooo much fun and lots of laughs!

I'm an astrojunkie. I can open your eyes to the world of astrology and divinity. I am not an expert but I like to dabble. I also have a strong administrative background if ever you need help with job search, resumes and interviews I can help with that too!

I would really like to learn the basics of cooking. I can't begin to tell you how awful I am in the kitchen.
