Interests

Music is a big one - I sing and play percussion in a couple of bands at the moment and I'm working on some other projects. The kind of music I like is wide ranging but I'm particularly passionate about the roots and folk music from La Réunion, Northeast Brazil, Jamaica, Occitania, Salento ... any style that uses voice, percussion. Having said that, I also love reggae and how sound systems that mix Jamaican vibe with the local cultures ...

A good film or a good book is always appreciated ...

I'm about to start a PhD on the late French thinker and poet Henri Meschonnic ...
