ABOUT ME

I can be quiet, sometimes loud with the right combination, but usually considerate, or so I'd like to think. I love to explore; new places, new pieces of art, and new people. I like traveling with others or sometimes all alone. Seeing the outdoors is my favorite way to relax and gather myself. I try to find beauty in everything, and I find it fairly easy to do.

PHILOSOPHY

You regret not doing, not doing. What this means is that I've found that I regret not taking a risk more often than I regret what happens after I do take a chance on something. It has lead me to many interesting experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am completely inexperienced as far as couch surfing goes. I've heard about if from friends, but because I have not traveled, I have never had an opportunity to experience it myself. For now I am a surfer, but hope to host in the future when I'm more certain of my living situation back home.

Interests

Writing, reading, meeting people with experiences different than my own. I like hearing live music and dancing, often while under the influence of something, maybe alcohol, extreme affection, or love-induced euphoria.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment, jazz is my musical obsession, Hemingway and Harry Potter are my literary ones, and Sean Connery's Highlander is my film infatuation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have eaten snow in August, while backpacking in the Sierra Nevada. It is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
