HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Occasionally I can offer a bunk, futon or show around town. If my sailboat is working, I might take you out.
Right now I am not in a good situation to host but if you are rolling through the area, let me know!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met a CS friend in Anchorage, Alaska for the day and had two US roadtripping CSers over for a night when I lived in Virginia.

I CSed on a Eurotrip with my girfriend in Spain and had a wonderful time.
I had a CS stay at my pad in Solomons, MD when I lived by the water on the island.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Sailed 80 days in the Atlantic Ocean with one another person while leading the ocean science survey in 2013 then again more of the same but 63 days nonstop to Japan in 2014 from San Francisco. We had to build our boat in 26 days before heading across the Pacific that added to the challenge.

I have sailed and mapped uncharted glacial fjords of Greenland and in the Northwest Passage over the past few summers. I am a polar scientists in the Arctic and usually head up there most summers.

Epic hikes, Mt. Fuji and Grand Canyon Rim to Rim 2014. I would like to add more to this list.

Im very passionate and love to share what I know and learn what you have to share. Sharing enthusiam for exploring life and planet Earth is what I got. Id like to share music, I just started Ukelele and want to approach piano in a new way, a jam kind of way. I have written some songs.
