About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live life today, because you never know how long you might have to wait for another shot at it.

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty laid back guy, easy to get along with and very low maintenance. I've always been passionate about music and the outdoors. By trade I am a percussionist, but I also play a bit of piano and sing.

PHILOSOPHY

One of my favorite quotes describes most of my philosophy:

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? ... There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do... And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I'm a beginner! I'm currently studying abroad in Paris, France and I'm looking to start my couch surfing experiences this December! Obviously since I'm currently traveling its hard to host people, but once I get an apartment (FA 2010 I'm thinking), I'll be all about hosting!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nothing couch-surfing specific, but many families have opened their doors to me and my friends when we found ourselves stuck in rainstorms no bicycle trips! I've always believed in the innate good in people and I hope to demonstrate that as I begin to experience CouchSurfing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning little bits and pieces of languages. I am a native english speaker and have been learning french for quite a while, but I also know basic phrases in german, and spanish. From living in Vermont, USA for most of my life, I am also fluent in Redneck and pretty advanced in Canadian (haha funny joke...).
