About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Going to travel around the US until Christmas. After that Central and South America, surfing and spanish is up!

ABOUT ME

I'm an outgoing girl with a lot of humor. I'm kind and caring, but still have a strong personality. I'm a *really* tidy and clean person, and hopefully that makes me an awesome guest :-) I'm generally up for fun things, and love to explore new places. To meet people that aren't afraid to let a bit loose, makes me happy. And interesting conversations and a really good laugh definitely makes my day. I have a lot of initiative and I love quirky people! Music is a huge part of my life, so I'm always up for a concert. And I have a great skill too: I used to be a bartender at a 50's cocktail bar, so I could mix up a classic one any time ;-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've just recently started CS'ing, and my experiences are really great! I've spent a couple of weeks in Harlem, New York. Then I went to Boston for a weekend, before I headed up to Burlington, Vermont for a few days. Finally I drove all the way down the east coast (did some surfing in Washington D.C. and Wilmington, North Carolina), and now I'm sooo tired of the road. So I'm going to take random trips around the US until December.

I'm definitely gonna couchsurf all of the time, because it is absolutely amazing. I've been able to hang out with really nice people who have he showed me around the cities, I've gone to a couple of CS gatherings where I've met both awesome hosts and surfers. I'm just so happy to see - for myself - that CouchSurfing really works. And that it's safe, and even more fun than I could ever hope for.

To stay at people's places for free is just a small aspect of the whole thing. What it's really all about, is to meet people. Local people. Great people! All cities are different, and so are the folks. And that makes every trip and every stay unique. My first thought: Why haven't I done this before??

Interests

Music! This summer I went to three Norwegian music festivals, and I absolutely loved all of them.
Movies. At home or at the cinema: What's important is that it's a great story.
Photography. Both taking them and looking at other peoples work.
Drinking coffee, cocktails, wine and beer at great places. And I love cooking, even though I eat out most of the time.

On my 7 month trip i intend to learn surfing, scooba diving, and spanish. But I first and foremost look forward to meeting a lot of new, exciting people from all over the world. And hey, maybe you can teach me something?
