We can't tell you all about us, you'd have to spend time with us and then you'd know!!
What we can tell you is that we LOVE to surf, to be outside, to play music, to look after ourselves, to be happy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've couchsurfed a few times, in England, Asia and Australia, in search of the perfect place to settle for a while and get my own couch. I found it in Noosa, so had some time to return the favour! Visas and wanderlust sent me back on the road again, I have since met my lovely partner Sam, so now we're looking for some places to couchsurf together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was introduced to couchsurfing a couple of years ago thanks to a great host, who also introduced me to sooo many other things while I stayed with him, a great start :) I have met up with several couchsurfers in Asia, who have given me lots of good advice and good times, and also in Australia, where I was made to feel so at home that I made it my home! There I was able to host quite a few people, I think hosting is even more fun than couchsurfing yourself. I've been back on the road for the last year and a half with Sam, and living in a van, so haven't been able to do much recently. Looking forward to getting more involved again.

兴趣

I tend to be overwhelmingly interested in whatever's in front of my face....until it disappears! So I have little bits of interest in a great many things.
Some things are here to stay... surfing, food, music, friends, guitar, travel, yoga....
Sam shares these interests, but is generally better at them than me, haha! Except for yoga, I'm more bendy.

音乐、电影和书籍

Some films....Tarantino movies, True Romance, Pans Labyrinth, Thelma and Louise, The Notebook(gush), Fear and Loathing, Motorcycle Diaries(great soundtrack too). Sam hearts Bruce Lee and all martial arts movies.
Some music....Pretty much all grunge, RHCP, Pixies, Jose Gonzalez, John Butler, Newton Faulkner, Rodrigo y Gabriela. Really like folky fiddly type music, and Sam likes anything on the bagpipes!
Some books....Life of Pi, Fear and Loathing, Rum Diaries, Time Travellers Wife, On the Road, Catch 22 are some recent favourites. Also Bill Brysons 'A short history of nearly everything'- that book is fascinating. And we both love Jack Londons 'Call of the Wild'- did you ever know a dog as good as Buck??! We cried at that one.

Trying really hard but can't pick something that really sums it up. Hopefully that's a good thing?

I could give you a cookery lesson, and then we get to share the food afterwards....always good! Apart from that we could go surfing, I'm a longboarder, Sam's a shortboarder. Between us we also do yoga, wing chun kung fu, and tai chi.
Sam's quite handy on the guitar, yeh he can belt out a tune. I also want to learn to speak Spanish properly, great language! Apart from this, I really just love to learn anything new, I'm open to ideas....
