ABOUT ME

I simply looooove to discover new places, people and cultures. I'm a dental student and this year i should be getting my bachelor degree :). I've lived most of my life in Egypt but i grew up in the US (my second home) and i go there once a year at least.
I've been playing drums for 7 years and have 3 bands/projects here in Egypt and i dream of expanding these projects to becoming something HUGE!
I'm very outgoing, laidback and chillaxed!! I try to enjoy everything to the max as i may not have the chance to do it again ;) !!
I also have been sharing in several activities dealing with charity and community developing which i like very much. People say about me that i'm relaxing, honest, descent and... crazy :D !!! But hey that adds up some fun eh?? :)

PHILOSOPHY

I guess everyone is here for a reason and that if anyone of us was not needed he wouldn't be here in the first place!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well travel agents here in Egypt always show visitors the historical sites and all these places made for tourists.... But they never show people the real lifestyle in Egypt, it is so much fun. I had lots of friends who visited Egypt many times before, but when they stayed with me and we hanged out in Cairo and other cities they said that they discovered a whole new aspect of Egypt that they would never expect to see and would have never saw it with travel agents. Believe me it is very different to see Egypt through an agent and a resident. To have both is the best for sure!
Until now all my visitors were my friends and family, and because i enjoyed it VERY VERY VERY much, i would really LOVE to show other people around and get to know them and have fun together discovering new things about Egypt.

I can help people with the Arabic/English languages as they are my mother tongue. I can teach you how to play drums :) and maybe jam with my band?! And maybe give you an idea about the Egyptian culture and lifestyle.
