I'm an open, uncomplicated, funny, but also sometimes pensive girl who loves to see different places every now and then and learn from the people I meet. When I'm travelling, the most important thing for me is not to make too many plans, this is the way I enjoy discovering places, deciding each moment what comes next.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
so far mostly surfing, but got started hosting just recently and hope to invite many more people in the near future
Very positive. Not many other ways these days come to my mind where you can experience such a load of generosity and goodwill from strangers :)
One of the things I like most - apart from all the other good stuff (eating, dancing, drinking, talking, going for a walk, hanging around lazy in the park with friends, reading, movies) - is learning languages. It's my passion! Also I really like to hear stories and histories about places I'm visiting, family history....
Music, Movies, and Books
I've read many great books but I don't actually read that much. I'm into fiction, but sometimes also poetry. I love Paul Auster, Zadie Smith, Anna Achmatova, loved Anna Karenina by Tolstoj. Love movies: One of my favorite is The Royal Tenenbaums (and most others by Wes Anderson), Wong Kar Wai (In the Mood for Love!!), Pedro Almodovar, David Lynch, Zazie dans le metro, argh too many... Last good movie: Three colours-trilogy by Kieslowski
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
sitting at the vistula by night with bear and beavers, studying in moscow, berlin at night, Brazil - Pantanal nature!
Teach, Learn, Share
Learning is one of my favourite activities in life :) be it languages, cooking, peoples' (hi)stories, about life in other countries, new sports... What I can teach you... don't know but I'm sure we can all learn from each other... ;)
