CURRENT MISSION

I dont believe in missions. I have heard that if you are open to Life, then it unfolds in a beautiful way. It is already, almost painfully beautiful, and that is all I seek. Poets never apologize for either the rains or their dreams.

ABOUT ME

I fell in love with the Sea when I was young, and sometimes with my own fears, and pain, and Love itself, which I have chased, -- and birds, and then Paris, but really only the Seine, and I am learning slowly that the candour and tenor of the phrase, "Sweet, Fuck all.", means more to me now than others.

PHILOSOPHY

Love, or pack of old cigarettes...do you ever find them, no, not justice, not justice at all, but all this, this vague feeling of a place so deep within ourselves that survives all exile, where the souls touch with the stars, where every memory is a new moment, and where nothing seems arrogant or pointless, do you? Have you ever found the place where being born and dying are the same dream?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couchsurfed from the website directly. But for the last two years living mainly in Paris, and briefly in Amsterdam, I was lucky enough to meet a group of wonderful people who looked after each other. Sometimes it was my couch they stayed on and others I stayed on theirs´. The experience taught me something that I have sought to learn my entire life, and that is that you can trust people, you can trust yourself, and the world around you. It has been the most profound thing in my life so far. I will never be able to express the gratitude and also the wealth that I have been blessed with by these experiences. Coming from such a small world as I have, its a sense of magic that people can really live as a community, people who barely know each other. It´s funny but the best experience was sharing a tent with three friends on the Seine one summer in Paris. It was real...real magic.

兴趣

Leaves, and I am insanely fascinated by Lichen. Dont know why. Water, of any kind. Good bars. Retiro. Words. I can´t remember who said it, but they said... "Words have patinas, overhangs, octaves, and echoes." I can´t say that I find spiders adorable, but I can´t bring myself to kill them. Films, Tarkovsky. Novels, Stendhal. Poetry, Vallejo. Human relationships. Time. Women especially. Avarice. Dreams, Motivations, Silence, not the why´s of war but war, Angels, Magnolias and cigarettes. The way the light falls on certain cities. It stays with me.

I am not sure if what I can share is very pratical. But if there is anything that I know anyone who has ever met me, no matter the personal chemistry, would say...They would say that I inspired them to be a little more daring and maybe a little too reckless, but that at heart, I am entirely sincere about them following their dreams, and would do anything to help and encourage them along the way.
