About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Dum vivimus, vivamus!

ABOUT ME

I think I'm an open minded student forever. I've just finished a city guide course and from this August I can call myself a licensed guide in Wroclaw.
I love to connect through good conversation.
I appreciate good sense of humor.
When it comes to sports, I enjoy hiking, cycling and generally outdoors. I love the mountains.

PHILOSOPHY

The past is history, the future is a mystery, the NOW is a gift, that's why they call it the present."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to show Wroclaw's beautiful monuments and of course, I know of some great off the beaten track trips outside of the city. I love trying and learning new things and helping others... that’s why I’ve joined CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was a student we don't have any computers but people could enjoy meeting others as well. The hich-hiking was very popular and I saw Italy, Greece, Hungary and Czech Republic in this way.

Interests

I’m interested in different things, I obviously enjoy travelling. Particularly I like visiting museums which are organized in writer's houses. The first one it was Wyston Auden's in Kirchstetten (Austria) and the last one it was Simona Kossak's in Bialowieza (Poland) just three weeks ago.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sandra Petrignani, The Writer Resides Here,
Amos Oz, A Tale of Love and Darkness,
Andrew Tarnowski, The last Mazurka. A Tale of War, Passion and Lost,
Simona Kossak, The Bialowieza Forest Saga,
I can strongly recommend them as a librarian :-), they are available in English!
I like an independent cinema and music: A Lisbon Story by Wim Wenders and fado by Madredeus or Mariza, French The New Wave with Agnes Varda who is my favorite.
But I prefere documentaries now just like Die Grosse Stille by Philip Gröning
