CURRENT MISSION

Get really stuck into my LLM, meet a load of great new people, relearn how to ride a bike without causing chaos on the streets of Leiden and maybe start to understand some Dutch!?!

ABOUT ME

I love going to new places and meeting new people and equally love spending time at home with friends and family. Life's too short to miss out on either. I can be pretty shy, although my friends would probably say that they have trouble shutting me up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't participated much really, but once I'm settled in to Leiden, I'm looking forward to being able to show people around.

Interests

Spending time with friends; learning new languages; using every pot, pan and surface available whilst attempting to cook; reading; cinema; theatre; hiking; playing cards (anything); dancing on a night out.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I'll read almost anything, but I particularly like Harry Potter, A History of the World in 10 1/2 Chapters, Life of Pi. I also secretly love fantasy stuff

Films: Goodbye Lenin, The Edukators, Cool Runnings, Lord of the Rings, Love Actually

Music: Let's go with cheese/the classics (although I do also enjoy listening to jazz and classical stuff that I know) and leave it at that. Anything else, the starting point is that I don't know it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm trying to think what I can teach... I guess I can attempt teaching the languages I know. Chess-I haven't played for ages, but would love to play again and I could teach anyone the basics.
