ABOUT ME

I love meeting all kinds of people and going on adventures. I'm very connected to my body and love to move it, especially when there's music involved. I majored in Linguistics and I'm fascinated by languages and the cognitive processes behind them. I love being outside, on the tops of mountains and the bottoms of valleys, in forests and meadows and deserts...all of it, really.

Interests

I love making connections with people and places around the world. I love getting myself out of my comfort circle, getting my mind blown by amazing and beautiful experiences, then having time to relax, reflect on and process those experiences. I'm always down for good music, good food and good drink.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I studied at a University in Hyderabad, India for 6 months in 2009. Some friends and I got to take a vacation to Nepal for 10 days. We went on a mini-trek and somehow got the opportunity to paraglide down a mountain! I was literally dumbstruck by the feeling of soaring hundreds of feet above the earth. My guide didn't speak a word of English, but that was fine because I wouldn't have been able to say anything anyway.
