CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
I'm an insomniac, and so have an attraction to places open 24 hours. I like getting lost, and then found, I'm an idiot sometimes, I like a fierce wind, thunder and lightning storms and sunshine. I love tea, i am a tea junky, and i'm always late, because I have to keep stopping for more tea! I also love dark chocolate, potatoes, and beer. I am a yoga teacher/ craftswomen, trying to not succumb to the 9-5, slightly crazy free thinking anarchist. Most of the time i'm happy and laid back but i'm also strong willed and opiniated which gets me in to trouble. I live with my partner richie 23 and our son 15 who is home educated. We live in Derbyshire close to Matlock and the Peak District great for walks, photography, climbing etc.
I have lived in benders, tents, cars, vans, caravans, and on boats, I don't really mind where I sleep, as long as its warm and i can make some tea.
PHILOSOPHY
To be happy and free, to explore life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A few years ago, before my son was born I stayed on various strangers couches, and camped in their gardens when hitching various places. I've never had a bad experience, and have always found people to be kind and generous. Now I have a house, I would like to offer the same back to others.
Interests
theatre, road trips, live bands, art, roller skates, dressing up and burlesque, meeting new people. I'm obsessed with boats and rivers, love nature, walking, veganism, glitter, and sequins

Music, Movies, and Books
Just finished reading 'Shantaram' by Gregory David Roberts a brilliant book written by a true adventurer. otherwise I like reading murder mysterys, travel tales and poetry.
My favourite movies are 'Edward Scissorhands', 'The Sheltering Sky' by Bertolucci, 'Crash', 'Chocolat ' by David Brown/ Lasse Hallstrom, 'The English Patient' by Anthony Minghella, 'The Piano' by Jane Campion, 'The Man Who Would Be King' by John Houston/ John Foreman, 'The Beach', and 'Castaway', oh yes who could not love 'Forest Gump', 'Apocolypse Now', 'The Thin Red Line, and any Hitchcock movie.
