ABOUT ME

I am patient and easy going.I have a passion for the outdoors. I am a vegetarian. I love meditation and yoga. I am an artist and I enjoy being creative. I quit my job and have been traveling since February 2009. I spent a month and a half sea kayaking in Baja California. Next, I backpacked around the southwest United States for 2 months with my Dawg Boo Radley. I am currently traveling in Asia. I started in China, then Tibet, Nepal and I am currently in India exploring meditation and yoga. Next I am off to Europe. I am open minded and love to learn from others and new experiences. I enjoy live music and going-out on the town, although I have been sober from drugs and alcohol for three years, I still love being social and have no problem being around it.

PHILOSOPHY

Acceptance is the ultimate truth. We are a drop of water in the Divine ocean of energy, of universe. Where the mind goes energy flows.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have not participated in CS before, but am am very excited for the experience and joining what sounds like a wonderful community. When I return home from my travels I hope to provide an open couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I do not have any experience surfing, any opportunity would be welcomed greatly.

I do not watch much TV. I love to read. I enjoy reading about meditation, diet, food, politics, anything by Vonnegut, Tom Robbins, or Carlos Castaneda, Stephen Levine, Michael Pollan, ect...

I love all kinds of music, accept commercial POP MUSIC! I enjoy rock (Citizen Cope, ect..) hip-hop (all of the living Legends, Aesop Rock, Zion I, and the list goes on), Reggae (Midnite, Stephen Marley, Eek a mouse, Michel Rose, ect...) I also like hard rock and metal, Blue Grass and Classic Rock. I love music from all cultures from around the world.

This infinite moment. Santih, Santih, Santih....(peace, peace, peace...)Looking back, this journey around the world has been wonderful. Seeing China, Tibet, Everest, Nepal, and India has completely changed my life. I have met so many amazing wise people and seen so many beautiful monasteries, towns, villages, and experienced daily lives in new cultures. I have gazed at breath taking mountains and learned and studied with Swami Ji's in India. I have learned to accept the bad and the good as one.

I am passionate about cooking and have been traveling for months without a kitchen; I would love to cook and share a meal with you. learning and teaching the wisdom from one another is what life is all about, I would love to share in all of this.
