ABOUT ME

I love to be open to new possibilities and experiences and get to know different people. I always think positive way because for me everything has also something good to offer. I like travelling and I`m very interested of different cultures.

I´m currently living in Helsinki, Finland with my husband, who is from Abancay, Apurimac, Peru. Currently I´m working in the University of Helsinki as an education planner. I´m from this city and I love it especially during the summer nights when people gather to the parks to meet and conversate. I have also lived some years in Peru, where I did many interesting things, for example teaching and ethnographic research.

I love music and different kind of festivals and I like to dance every kind of music, from heavymetal to cumbia. I play piano and Finnish traditional instrument kantele, I like art and doing paintings. And I like languages, I always try to learn even some words in local language because that is how you get to know th country and people better. Last trip I made to Myanmar, where "hello" is said: Minlagabar and thank you "zezube" (I don't know it is written ).

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly through Couchsurfing I would like to know new people in different countries. I participate socializing with the people from other countries and giving a couch (if I can) when people will need that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been few times couching (Portugal, Sweden,France) and then I have just met couchsurfers in Finland and in Spain. I have hosted couple of times in Helsinki. Everytime the people that I have met have been really nice.

音乐、电影和书籍

Music: Especially the 70´s, 80´s and 90´s rock music, I´m looking a new favourite band from the 2010´s but still haven´t found it..
I always love to dance Indie rock and also salsa and other latin music!Also metal is fun for me.
I like usually sad and complicated movies but I couldn´t help to love Lord of the Rings, because I liked the books so much.
I´m currently reading latin american literature, something new for me.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

If I could pick one country, it would be India, it´s a place that for me was completely another world, in a good way.
Also I was amazed by many people I met in Peru. They are fighting so much for their rights even though the state doesn´t help them and is denying their bad situation.

My thoughts are very anthropological:
You can learn to love other culture but you never can be completely part of it. But already knowing the other culture can teach so much about yourself and your habits.

Now I can show Helsinki like a local, share Finnish culture, music and food. Also I can tell a lot of things from Peru if you are interested.
