About Me

PHILOSOPHY

Everything is relative.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to travel and meet new people of course)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At my first time I had a couch in Kiev,it was interesting experience + our new friend showed us the city and now I like Kiev very much) Though! Cause of before this I was in Kiev 2 times (!) with tourist group and I didn't like this. BUT couchsurfing changed everything!
Next times I was in Italy, France and Belgium. I think that CS is something like a lottery, but,as a rule, all people is very nice here)

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock music, rock'n'roll, reggae.

I love the Soviet films very much! But not only of course) From the last, what I saw, I like: "The Last Picture Show" ("Последний киносеанс") by Peter Bogdanovich, "Door on the Left as You Leave the Elevator" ("Налево от лифта") by Édouard Molinaro, "Window to Paris" ("Окно в Париж") by Yuri Mamin, "Italian for Beginners" by Lone Scherfig.

The last book, who I read and it liked me, was novel "Dandelion Wine" ("Вино из одуванчиков") by Ray Bradbury.Very kind and sunny stories ..)
Earlier I prefered russian classic Anton Chehov. But it is very hard to read Chehov all the time, because the most stories are enough depressive. Be careful with the russian classic literature!)
Among my favorite books (what I could remember): "All the King's Men" ("Вся королевская рать") by Robert Penn Warren, "The Agony and the Ecstasy" ("Муки и радости") by Irving Stone, "For Whom the Bell Tolls" ("По ком звонит колокол") by Ernest Hemingway.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some years ago I rafted down the river by canoe (Republic of Karelia). Last point of rafting was a small isle on the White Sea. We were spending some days there and every day I saw how the sea undergoes a flux and reflux, the sea comes and goes...probably it is one of the most amazing thing I've seen..

Riviera di Levante.I recommend)

Great industrial view from the window of office, where I work now!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach programm AutoCAD for use) also to play volleyball, to bike, learn to speak Belarusian and show how to cook belarusian potato pancakes!

I want to learn to cook something special dishes. And I want to go surfing (and diving too). I didn't try and don't know how do it. But I want very much!
