PHILOSOPHY

We do not enjoy consuming in general - we like to build our own things as we need them. We also try not to have more than we need. We are much more into experiences than in mere material collection - perhaps that's why we'd rather invest our time and money into traveling and learning many different thing instead of, say, buying a car or some other meaningless expensive thing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We were hosted during our German trip, in August 2010, and so far it's been excellent.

We also plan to host people here in Brazil, as soon as we move to a house of our own.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Starting our own online shop and selling our crafts to many different countries around the world was one of the most amazing things we've done.

Teach, Learn, Share

Marina is a very skilled person when it comes to handcrafts: she can sew, craft woodworks, paint and other related activities. She's a good teacher, even having taught Thiago to sew (a true feat for someone with two left hands).

Thiago is an avid photographer, and can teach the techniques very well. He know his way around photo gear and studio equipment.

We're very interested in learning German and some other languages, and are always eager to practice.
